Custom header with AddHeaderField () the fieldValue gets a whitespace

Hello, when i add a custom header with AddHeaderField () the fieldValue gets a whitespace after the last semicolon.

fieldValues:

str1;str2 -> str1; str2

str1;str2;str3;str4 -> str1;str2;str3; str4

How can i supress this?

Verify that this problem exists with the latest version of Chilkat. If so, then please provide an exact string that would be passed to AddHeaderField (is it really just "str1;str2;str3;str4" ?), and also indicate the header field name.

yes i passed exactly the string "str1;str2;str3;str4". But there is no problem with the latest version i noticed. Thank you.

We have an old version of Chilkat downloaded in 2013 and our support time has already expired. Do we have to buy a new license/support to use the latest Chilkat?
