Way to determine SSL/TLS protocol used when dll 9.5.0.43 or lower?

Is there a way to tell the version of SSL/TLS protocol being used during the connection when using dll 9.5.0.43 or lower? Version 9.5.0.46 has the TlsVersion property, but not prior versions.
