problem RTF Attachement

Will chilkat add support for RTF attachments in winmail.dat?

Answer

RTF is just a text file. Is the implementation preventing one from selecting RTF files?

Or is there a specific results that is causing you a problem?

Answer

When I receive emails from outlook or office365 in RTF format, the attachments are encrypted under the winmail.dat file which can not be read from chilkat forcing me to request the mailer to change the format of their emails to HTML where the files are not encrypted.

Attached sample mail with file that is not displayed using chilkat when encrypted as winmail.dat file. --000_CP2P152MB0481E7ADA3383CCE7377743AD9330CP2P152MB0481LAMP Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="winmail.dat" Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64 Content-Type: application/ms-tnef; name="winmail.dat"

NOTE: Since gmail the file if it can be seen as excel file, I imagine they do have compatibility for this.
