What's the best method to confirm email delivery (I'm using CkoMailMan and CkoEmail) without waiting on an email bounce. Under typical email client circumstances that would be best I suppose. But with my app, photographers send their images to their publishers via email and then move on to more shooting or working with additional images.

Would it make sense to start up a background thread looking for bounces and then take action accordingly?
