SMTPQ Problems

I am having a real problem with the SMTPQ service on a particular machine. It just does not seem to keep running.

I have tried installing the 32-bit and 64-bit but both fail.

Also, this current version does not appear to recognise emails in the queue, which were created before the service was started.

I have a client hopping mad with me at the moment, and really need some advice on where I should be going.

The first thing you want to do is to make sure the SMTPQ is up-and-running. If it's a 64-bit computer, then install the 64-bit SMTPQ service. Otherwise install the 32-bit SMTPQ service. If you have trouble, tell me which one (32-bit or 64-bit) so we can focus on one thing.

After starting the SMTPQ, you should see a log file created in the log directory with a name such as smtpq_2013_2_21.log, and the initial contents will be something like this:

Its the 32-bit running on Data Center 2008 64-bit. Didn't even manage to get the service to install following instructions with 64-bit SMTPQ.

I'm having the same issue (ver 9.4.0) .... the process is hosted on server 2000 (32 bit) - and indicates it's running, but despite having many files in the queue, none are being processed. At one point when I first injected files into the queue, I saw a total of 12 files show up in the rejected folder (6 .eml and 6 .xml), but nothing is going out. I'm posting the files using sendQ2 vice SendQ - but that shouldn't make a difference.

The SMTPQ download link has the version number in it, so you can substitute the version number that you need and it appears to work (I tried 9.3.1 and it worked at least):
