Problems with the registration of ChilikatMail2.dll

Hi there,

I have a problem with the registration of ChilikatMail2.dll on the server Windows 2008 R2 Foundation SP1 (64bit). I have unsuccessfully tried to register with the EmailActiveX-9.4.1-win32.msi. Similarly, the registration is with "regsvr32.exe" failed. Under other operating systems (Windows 8.1 64bit, Windows 7 (both) server Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise SP1 (64bit)) is the registration is successful. Perhaps someone has an idea what can be the cause of my problem?

Answer

What error code and message are you getting when you try to register the file?

Are you trying to register it while logged in as an administrator, and/or from an elevated command prompt?

Is the DLL in the C:WindowsSysWow64 folder, or a different folder? If different, what folder?
