Are there any plans to create Linux versions for ia64 hardware? I'm interested in the C/C++ libraries for Linux on ia64.

Are you asking about support for Intel Itanium 64-bit processors, or the much more common 64-bit Intel processors? Chilkat already supports x64 Intel Linux. There are no immediate plans for Itanium 64-bit processors.
