I have to develop an application that reads and writes files in xml vb6. In the list of products I read that these components are freeware. I understand that I can download ChilkatAx-9.5.0-win32 and use freely components xml without UnlockComponent? Furthermore components contineranno to function even after the 30-day trial? I can then distribute without any license issues? Did I get it right? Thanks for reply
Correct. The Chilkat DLL contains a mixture of freeware classes and classes that need to be licensed. The freeware classes may be used without purchasing a license, and the DLL may be included with your app's distribution. There are no license issues.
