Question:
Looking at the smtpQ log file, I see entries such as:
(Mon, 04 Jan 2016 23:09:39 -0500) tryCount: 5
(Mon, 04 Jan 2016 23:09:39 -0500) sleepMillisec: 90000
(Mon, 04 Jan 2016 23:10:40 -0500) Thread is dead (A): C:some pathsome FileName.eml
(Mon, 04 Jan 2016 23:10:40 -0500) Deleted dead EML: : C:some pathsome FileName.eml
I was under the impression smtpQ does NOT delete eml files. Instead it should move them to the Undeliverable folder. Please clarify: are there scenarios where smtpQ decides to delete eml files? If so, why? How can we avoid those scenarios?
