ChilkatLog: Connect: DllDate: Sep 3 2009
Upgrade to the latest chilkat release, this one is more than 6 years old.
Thanks Gert. I emailed support to see about how to go about upgrading our Chilkat components. We have not updated them since we purchased them.
I just hope that resolves the problem!!!
Thank you.
My understanding is just download new version and use your old key.. Product license is perpetual, support contract has end date.
The product license is perpetual, and grandfathered license holders can update to new versions perpetually because that was the deal at the time. However, a year or two ago (I can't remember exactly when), the licensing change so that only 1 year of new version upgrades is included.
Given the date in the LastErrorText ("DllDate: Sep 3 2009") the 1YR support has surely expired..
