Chilkat xojo plugin MacOS compatibility

When I use the Xojo plugin and try to build or run a project that is set for 32-bit OSX I get the following message:

Compilation of "program" failed. Plugin "chilkat.xojo_plugin:0" is not supported for Mac OS Carbon (Mach-O).

I run macOS Sierra 10.12.1 on my MBP. Since running a project in the debugger is still limited to 32-bits only (by Xojo), this is very inconvenient. Are there any plans of supporting 32-bit OSX as well?
