Is there something else that needs to be set for the scp when the file exists?
I do not see any property, or does some setting exist on the server that controls this?
I don't understand the question.
If the file exists on the server, does the scp overwrite the file?
Windows 12 to a AIX server.
Maybe permissions on AIX prevent this, as I know there is a profile setting that determines the permissions on create file.
I don't know about your particular AIX case. I would think the typical case, if (for example) uploading to a file that already exists on a typical Linux computer in a directory owned by your SSH user account, that it would overwrite the existing file.
