Do we need a different License code for the activex downloads.

Yes, they are different components.

Note that the chilkat bundle (which contains ALL libraries, including FTP2 and SSH/SFTP) is a better deal (cheaper) than buying 2 separate components. http://www.chilkatsoft.com/buyBundle.asp
