Mailbox full causing Hard Bounce

I am testing an internal bounce back application using Chilkat and have overfilled an inbox to test what happens when the users inbox is full. The BounceBack is coming back as expected with the follow text:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

  Subject:  TEST
  Sent: 11/07/2013 10:48 AM

The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

  mailbox on 11/07/2013 10:48 AM
  The message could not be delivered because the recipient's mailbox is full.
  <exchangeserver.network #5.2.2>

I would expect Chilkat to read this as a SoftBounce however it is being read as a HardBounce. Has anyone else experienced this?
