Latest Version of FTP2

I have version 2.6.8, I noticed that that latest version is 9.5.0. Does anyone know if you have to purchase the latest version or if the original purchase covers upgrading to the latest version.

See http://www.chilkatsoft.com/purchase2.asp where it says: "...The license never expires. Only support expires..."
