How can I define changes in IMAP mailbox folder?

Hello! My desktop application is using Chilkat_9_5_0.Imap ActiveX component. My mailbox is gmail.

Question: How can I define changes in IMAP mailbox folder? I understand how can I find new emails, using search command.

However, if user move some very old email from Inbox to SomeFolder (using gmail web-client) then which approach should I use to determine these changes from thousands of emails?
