Ports in use for Http Post

I need to know which ports and types (TCP/UDP) need to be open in order to allow http posts to go through a Firewall. A client recently installed a SonicWall device and locked it down good. They need to know which ports to open.

Can someone help with this?

Answer

Standard Ports: TCP/80 for HTTP, TCP/443 for HTTPS. Sometimes servers will be configured to use non-standard ports though.

Okay, that makes sense. Not sure why the Firewall is blocking this. I know I was able to connect from my office later that day but not at the client's site.
